Catch Up

Things the past couple of days haven't been that busy, I just haven't really felt like I've been home and when I have been home I haven't wanted to update the blog.

Hubby went to Omaha, Nebraska to go see the Beavers play in the college world series. It was a dream come true for him as an avid baseball fan. I was a little jealous that I didn't get to go, but I had to work and I would have had to buy a plane ticket out there which I'm sure were outrageous. He's lucky he got to grab a student and fly out there himself!

I've been working most every day so that's been taking up most of my days. Then Saturday night Misty and I went to see 'This Is The End' the new Seth Rogan movie. It was pretty funny. I'm not as familiar with the entire cast so there were some private jokes that I probably missed out on, but on the hole I could relate to it. I also saw that Pineapple Express had been on TV the night before and I watched 10 minutes of it before turning it off. Well James Franco and Seth Rogan are in both movies and This Is The End references it a couple of times. I was kicking myself for not watching more.

Tonight I created a new drink: The Malibu Barbie. It contains whipped cream vodka, malibu rum, strawberries and sprite zero. It's pretty good. Whipped cream vodka and sprite zero make it a Barbie, along with the strawberry blonde hair and the malibu rum contributes to the Malibu.

Here are my past couple days worth of outfits:

Brown cardigan, maroon top, brown pants, brown flats

 I feel like this outfit was very fall like. I wore my brown pants which are lined, a maroon tank top and a brown cardigan. I finished the look off with some brown ballet flats.

I also wore this outfit to work it is a black giraffe print top with black slacks and black wedge heels. I actually wore the outfit with a black cardigan shown cause it gets to be pretty cold in the pharmacy.

 Here is the jewelry I wore with the outfit. It is a black and silver ball necklace with black and silver ball earrings.Sorry, it's hard to see the earrrings. The earrings made it about 2 hours when I felt one fall off (although I didn't know what it was at the time) and then one of the technicians found my earring on the floor 3 hours later. That's why I don't really like to wear earrings without a back...I lose them! The necklace, however, lasted all day. I just noticed that my kitty made an appearance. Say "hi,"Callie!

 This is a bracelet that I made it's from For the makers. My parents bought me a subscription for my birthday and I've loved having crafty projects to make each month. While the amount of jewelry I wear goes in phases and I hardly ever wear bracelets, I've worn this bracelet twice. I was happy to see a similar design was used for a headband in the box I got yesterday. I've already made it and it may see a debut here soon!

 Finally, I wore this outfit today. Another black and white outfit. To be fair I did have a day of scrubs between these so my co-workers don't think I'm goth. I also feel a little limited in my selection because I haven't done laundry in a week and I'm reserving a selection of clothes for my midwest trip. Although I'm wearing almost none of my work clothes it still is hard to get dressed in the morning. :)
